September 26th - Mountain Heart at Heritage Point Park Amphitheater in Dalton, Ga. Mountain Heart will be featured during Dalton's first "bluegrass bands & helping hands" benefit concert for DOC-UP (a 501c organization which helps families devastated by job loss). Also appearing: The Dixie Bee-Liners, The Dismembered Tennesseeans, Spatial Effects and Steel String Session. Gates will open at 4:30 pm with music starting at 5:00 pm. $15 adult tickets and $5 students. Children under 12 yrs free. Pack your lawn chairs and bring the whole family for a great night of music. October 24th, 2009 SEBA’s Silver Anniversary Super Star Concert at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center Duluth, Georgia. Featuring: Longview, J.D. November 7th - Murphy Henry to conduct Bluegrass Banjo Workshop at Banjo.com - Addicted to tablature?! Here's a chance to break free from the bonds of tab and learn to play by ear. Murphy Henry, developer of the Murphy Method of teaching, has taught thousands to play through her workshops and DVD series. Alabama Opry House - Alabama Opry House is a new winter Bluegrass venue. It is located in Tarrant, Al., just off I-59 on Tallapoosa St.,which is Hwy 79 N.
