Joe Cullison Acoustic Productions is hosting Robin Bullock for an intimate guitar workshop on Sat July 8 and Sunday July 9. The class size will be limited to 14 people. Tuition is $100. Sat lunch and a large gourmet group dinner Sat night is included. Location is at Joe Cullison's home in Macon. The class will meet from 1000 AM to 4 PM with jamming afterwards into the night. The focus will be on bluegrass flatpicking and Celtic style playing.

Matt Flinner has made a career out of playing acoustic music in new ways. Starting out as a banjo prodigy who was playing bluegrass festivals before he entered his teens, Matt later took up the mandolin, won the National Banjo Competition in Winfield, KS in 1990, and won the mandolin award there the following year. Alabama Opry House - Alabama Opry House is a new winter Bluegrass venue. It is located in Tarrant, Al., just off I-59 on Tallapoosa St.,which is Hwy 79 N. Every other Tuesday evening there's a semi-structured bluegrass jamming in East Roswell. At these sessions, we don't mind slowing things down (just a little) to help accommodate those relatively new to bluegrass music -or for those attempting to learn a new bluegrass instrument. The intent is to get everyone up to artist speed as accurately and as quickly as possible. Always a fun and supportive atmosphere.
